We're doing blue and yellow blocks for the block lotto this year. I have four done. The top three are mine, and the one below it is Pat M.'s. She thought it was too small, and gave it to me to use as an orphan. I measured it and told her that being off by 1/16th of an inch doesn't exclude it from the lotto. The separate block is one that I figured out how to re-size from a 12" block, again no quilterscache.

Baltimore Treasures begun
I purchased some of the Baltimore Treasure patterns from http://www.quilterscache.com/ and have finally started to do something with them. My first one looks like the simplest. It's called The Grace of God, and has been ironed to my freezer paper templates, and has the edges turned under, ready to applique. I still need to buy a length of white fabric to use as background.

Church kitchen dish towles
Dorothy, In VT, sent me some dish towels after I had posted about the lack of them in our church kitchen. I've embroidered the church initials on them and have them in the washer now. I'll get them to church on Sunday. I did put a crockpot / dutch oven on one, but decided that it was a bit much, since I'm only trying to label them so they get returned to the church when people take them home to wash. Thanks, Dorothy!!
