Brian's quilt

Annette made this quilt for her son, Brian, using a layer cake pack and its' instructions. I quilted it on Hoot with tan/gold thread, using Annette's favorite panto - Primrose Swirl.

Disappearing Nine Patch

Annette made this quilt for a granddaughter's wedding gift. Her backing is a soldi pale gold/tan color and showed the quilting beautifully. She and I had taken a class at the Quilter's Bee on backings, so she added some back art. I quilted it on Hoot for her, using the Primrose Swirl pattern.

Disappearing None Patch.

BQ2

27 X 35". It has a green and white striped backing. I'm keeping this one. I quilted it on Hoot in the Primrose Swirl pattern.

Sailing Ships

These pillow panels were put together for a top. Annette quilted them on Hoot with the Oriental Clouds panto. The quilt measures 44 X 52" and was donated to Sojourner Center. It has a maroon backing.

String quilts

Sharon made these and donated them. They all went to Sojourner Center. Gold strings is 48 X 66".

Black strings is 42 X 61.

Red strings is 40 X 58"

All were quilted on Hoot.

I made this quilt for Sarita and Noel, It's king size.

Chickens!

I started chickens a long time ago, then I did the chicks. The fence is a pattern from quilterscache.com It's 31" square and was handquilted before I purchased Hoot. It was donated to Sojourner Center to be used as some kid's drag around quilt.

Autumn Splendor

45 X 60", this is a stash buster quilt. Houses were extras from a Habitat for Humanity quilt, and the leaves were extras from a leaf swap. That gaudy border was leftovers from the sashing for the Flaming aMatches quilt I made. I free motion quilted it on Hoot and donated it to UMOM.

Christmas Triangles

This 56 X 71" quilt was quilted by Ellen on Hoot, using a large meander. It was donated to UMOM.

Alphabets, Truck, trains, and bears

The trucks and trains quilt is yet another put together at the charity quilt sew day at my house. It measures 45 X 47" and was freemotion quilted by Cathy on Hoot.

The red bears quilt is the same fabric front and back. It was a slightly heavier fabric than I usually use, and it was languishing, so I made it into a cahrity quilt. It measures 60 X 66" and was donated to Sojourner Center.

Bears and alphabets is 36 X 60". It was donated by Denise and went to UMOM.

Rail fence, Blue Daisies and pink bordered quilts

The blue daisies quilt top was donated by Dorothy. It was my first attempt at doing feathers in the quilting. It's 37" square and was donated to Sojourner Center.

The pink borders YBR quilt top was donated by Melissa and I quilted it with the Double Rose Vine Pantograph. It measures 61 X 70" and went to UMOM.

The rail fence quilt is one that I made with leftover fabric from making the Habitat for Humanity quilt. It measures 54 X 71" and it was donated to Sojourner Center.

Novelty bargello and cow

These are a couple more quilts done by the gang at the sew day at my house. They were quilted on Hoot.

The bargello measures 48 X 74" and has a pieced back. It went to Sojourner Center.

The cow quilt is 45 X 68" and went to UMOM.

8 months since I've been here

Well, I've been busy, what can I say?? Ray had a couple back surgeries and I started a new job - three months only per year. I have gotten a lot of quilts quited on Hoot.

Here's a purple Yellow Brick Road which was donated. Cathy quilted it on Hoot and Ellen did the fancy stitch binding on her machine. This quilt was donated to Sojourner Center and measures 40 X 45".

The next one is four sets of pillow panels. These qilts were put together at a sew day at my house in April 2008. (I'm only a little late getting them published, huh?) The quilt measures 41 X 65" and was donated to UMOM.
