I put a big piece of muslin, for front and back of a quilt, upon which to practice. It turns out that my daughter, Sarita is a better quilter than I am. She's more artistic at drawing things, so I guess this makes sense. I do plan to practice a lot and build my skills. Sarita did some circles, drawn with a pie plate, and then put feathers around them.
